Handmade in Kenya this vintage gourd, fleshed out, dried and engraved and geometric design is for decorative purposes. Although this is newer than the traditional gourds in this shop, it is still vintage, just not as old as most of the other gourds listed here. There is strong rattling of the inside of the gourd which has been broken up inside but not completely emptied.

This decorative gourd photographed from many angles to show the natural leanings of the gourd depending on how it sits. It looks straight in some photos and leans in others as the gourd is turned.
