Handmade in Zimbabwe, I purchased this blue vintage screen print in Harare. It is 100% cotton and the black border is hand-painted creating a natural frame. Customers have used it to make bedspreads, tablecloths, curtains and as a wall hanging. I use it as a wall hanging with 4 drapery clips and a rod.

This work of art depicts Bushman village life. I fell in love with the pots depicted on this textile.

The first photo is a closeup view, in the second photo the textile is folded in quarters and the third is a full view. The true color of this textile shows best on the photo with the folded textile. It shows the richer, darker blue that is the actual color.

As I've mentioned in other listings, art in Africa is made to live with and most items are washable as is this screen print.
