Painted by the well known Congolese artist Lutanda Nzemba, this is his depiction of Dunoon Settlement, an informal settlement outside of Cape Town, South Africa. I met Lutanda In Cape Town and have several of his works which have varied as he has had  different experiences and since he's lived in South Africa the paintings have changed tremendously. The first paintings I purchased from Lutanda are signed Lutanda Nzemba and now they are signed Lutanda Zemba

Lutanda is a contemporary realist whose subjects are within his acquaintance and experience.
