Handcrafted in Ghana in the late 20th Century, this rare strand of Korli Recycled Glass Beads consists of 50 Blue Green Transparent Beads with speckles of color inside the doughnut shaped beads.

This type of vintage beads with the flecks of color is no longer made because of the difficulty of the process. Coca-Cola and Milk of Magnesia bottles were crushed into powder, melted and poured into molds and additionally worked outside of the mold to form the unique doughnut shape.

These beads are often ceremonial and worn by royalty and those considered very important.
