Handcrafted in the Ivory Coast, this vintage, tribal,  Dan Mask has the traditional, round, protruding forehead, smooth and browless, hovering over the dominant eyes, so that the wearer can show the motion of his own eyes, through the mask. After exceptional carving of the mask, with wood from local trees, raffia is intricately braided to represent hair of this mask.This Dan Mask was used in Nomination Ceremonies in the Ivory Coast.
