African Mask Priest Anokye Conjurer of the Ashanti Golden Stool Handcrafted in Ghana
THIS MASK IS A REPLICA OF THE FACE OF A PRIEST ANOKYE OF THE ASHANTI TRIBE. Anokye was the conjurer who the Golden Stool for the Ashanti people of Ghana.
Handcrafted in Ghana, this wood carved mask was made as decorative art and to honor the memory of Priest Anokye. There is a leather loop on to use it as a wall-hanging. Beautifully crafted by the same Ghanian artist who makes the Adinkra Symbol Wall Plaques that also appear in this shop.
