Zimbabwe is said to have Africa's best stone carvers, but I believe all continents should be included in that statement. Whether the carving is .5 inches or 10 feet, this work is unique to Zimbabwe and some of the world's best.

The carver in Zimbabwe chooses just the right stone, often transports it to where it will be carved and nourishes it from inspiration to completion.
