This rare Aggrey Bodom String of Beads consists of 78 Multicolored Beads with colors of red, blue, white, green and yellow in many variations of the colors, and are recycled using ground and crushed antique beads. The beads graduate in size from approximately two inches to four inches circumference with the largest beads in the center bottom of the necklace.

As I purchased these beads from a very well known bead artist in Ghana over 15 years ago I recently telephoned him in Ghana to refresh my memory on the details before placing them for sale and to be sure I used the proper pricing, therefore, I have the best and most recent information directly from the artist who made all of the vintage beads that I will show here.

He made these beads approximately 26 years ago by grinding antique trade beads and materials that had actually been used for as he says "high people", such as kings and queens. He informed me that he can no longer make these type of beads as the antique materials/beads are no longer available. Anything he would make currently would be beautiful but would not be made of the unavailable antique materials, although many will say the beads they sell are.
