Handcrafted in South Africa, this unique vintage set of napkin rings are hallmarked sterling silver and carry the AfriSilver logo on each item. The 4 animal sculptures are of the lion, elephant, guinea hen and leopard, all native to South Africa. These napkin rings were a presidential gift to Clintons from the president of South Africa (more information below).

Each sculpture is individually handcrafted and molded, cast in resin, which is discarded, to leave a lightweight electroformed 925 sterling silver. Black felt is attached to the bottom for protection of the silver. SET of 4, as shown in photo.

MRS. MBEKI'S GIFT TO MRS. CLINTON: Mrs. Mbeki presents to Mrs. Clinton a 12-piece set of Afrisilver napkin rings. Each napkin ring features a different animal found in Africa, including a lion, elephant, leopard and buffalo.

These authentic AfriSilver napkin rings in the original boxes have never been used. Purchased directly from the artist while in South Africa. A few show natural signs of age and pigmentation.
