Handcrafted in South Africa the artisans work next to an old farm house in the mountains, where their small empowerment project is located. These former farm workers produce clay pottery using artifacts the wax finish of traditional South African pottery. Although the patina gives it the look of wood; this is clay pottery.

The inspiration for this decorative vase comes from traditional South African symbols and designs, influenced by the local cave drawings.
