Vintage hand-painted to be used as a tablecloth, however, you can also hang it as an art piece; it's fabulous on a bed or table.
A one of a kind artisan textile with the silver Elephant and the Palm trees on all 4 sides. The back of this textile is solid black.
Each tablecloth is a labor of love by the artist.
The fabric is 100% cotton, but it's difficult to tell that it's only cotton because of the layers of paint and the method these textiles are made using porridge and other traditional organics in a way that some countries use wax.

As with all of the artisan work I bring from Africa, this tablecloth can be hand-washed.
Art is meant to be lived with in Africa and it is in every part of life, therefore, an item like this one is made to be used and can be washed.
